Christian A. Young's Dimlight Archive

Christian A. Young grew up in a small town in the American Midwest, where he developed a love of aesthetic decay and a serious need to live somewhere bigger. He presently lives and writes in Columbia, MO, where he shares a house with his family and a pack of dogs, all of whom who are allowed on the furniture.

When he isn't writing essays and stories, he likes to lend a hand at the annual True/False Film Festival, and celebrates National Novel Writing Month (even if he isn't participating). He writes fan fiction for fun, and believes in the value of transformative works as art and folklore in their own right.

  1. Well met Christian,
Where might one procure/purchase some of your writings? We met briefly Sunday 10June2012 at the closing ceremony of the festival in Tower Grove Park in St. Louis, Mo.
    All the best,
    Herb Medley

  2. Hey Herb!

If you peek up at the top of the page, there should be a button that says “Buy Words,” which should link you to things I’m in and how to get them. Alternately, if you’d like to order things from me directly, just drop me an e-mail and we can work it out. It may take a little longer, but I usually keep a few things on hand at any given time.
